I'll be there someday as well. It's been a long ride. Some if it will be missed, but there are a lot of reasons for me to quite raising hogs as well.

Like you said, loading out semi loads of 300 lb pigs while getting older is not a good mix. Your slats still look good. I really hope my last pig is gone before mine start to break. Even concrete does not last forever.

Congrats for getting out on your own terms rather than letting fate make that decision for you. I'm guessing there were probably ten times as many hog farmers in business when you started as there are today.
