I would not buy a semi with less than 400 hp to haul 1000 bu. Or at least get a big block engine. And I would not buy a Sterling cab either.
I would much rather have an older T800 KW , Pete 359, or W900 KW which hold their value. And the cabs and dashes don't fall apart.
I don't know if the issues with the Sterling dash ever got fixed. Sterling may still have a steel cab but I thought they may have aluminum cab on newer.
A Freightliner FLD120 is a much more desirable cab than a Sterling IMO. | |
