Subject: Ear infection or mycoplasma?

SE ND
Have a calf that when we brought them home to vaccinate before weaning (few weeks ago) noticed he looked ill and held his head tilted. Got a dose of draxin in him and figured ear infection due to ear drainage. Still held head tilted but was bucking and looking good when we gave round 2. Now talking to the vet, who has not seen this calf, thinks we have mycoplasma. I'm not sure I am totally buying the mycoplasma thing yet but she wants use to vaccinate for it. What have you seen or think we have going on.

Calf was born around April, one round of shots at turn out to pasture and nothing except draxin until now.
