Those park rangers are a plucky bunch if their health care and govt pensions are in question. As far as a trade partner, we sell you rocks and trees and you make stuff and sell it back to us at a profit. Not a terrible deal on either end.
History shows that the US only goes to war when it benefits them and I bet they don’t go to the Arctic just to be good people. Now if Putin shows up in Alaska on the other hand, Canada would be there giving out free Tim Horton's....no drilling rights or land grab required. So long as we are asked nicely....please and thank you
