Like I said before about the Chinese misplaying their relationship with the USA. So have the Canadians. It would appear to me that they are looking to try to complicate things for the USA with their actions ( like we need their help? ). How long does the USA have to decide if we want the lady? Is it 60 days, 90 days, or whatever the USA decides?

Not sure but the way I read it was that Canada had no choice but to arrest her under the terms of the treaty (so long as the US filled out the paperwork correctly). Extradition to the USA is another matter though....Canada apparently has some leeway on that.
