southern MN | That’s a nice visual of what’s going on.
It is interesting many areas wish to slow down the organic matter conversion; yet we all seem to want more microbes in the soil that do the breakdown as it is a sign of soil health?
We might want to consider what directions we are going with the microbes.
Because then we apply all sorts of products to kill off some of the bad microbes (and maybe some good ones too?) and then seed treatments that are 27 layers deep to again kill and promote different microbes.
I get a little lost as to what we want to end up with. Said in good humor, but a little truth to it.
We have so much to learn.
