South Georgia | I would think the simplest solution would be to purchase a wifi thermostat and set up a cell phone or tablet (whichever is cheapest to add to your account) to be a mobile hotspot to provide internet connectivity to the thermostat. Not only could you monitor the temp, but also control the HVAC system. There are probably Nest-like systems out there that could also add some additional home automation or alarm system features that might be useful. | |
