East of Broken Bow | While you are figuring what it's gonna cost you, if you are on Obamacare, be sure to see your agent, and see how much your premiums are going to cost you.
I had all mine figured up, taxes plus Obamacare premiums for myself and wife, and also healthcare premiums for the kids (because of some strange government mix-up, my wife and I renew at the end of the year, but the kids, in the spring, and for whatever reason they aren't putting us all together).
Anyway, long story short, when we ran the numbers on our scenario, showing an income of 40K instead of 30K, gives us a net tax and Obamacare increase of over $9,000. Kinda takes the incentive off of working harder, or trying to save when I can do $10,000 worth of improvements/upgrades for under $1000 out of pocket.
