What are you using for inbound moisture content.? When is 1000x 6.9 = 69? Here shrink is 1.5. Actual 1.15. Difference of .35.
Under your scenario you are only getting docked 30 bushel a load for 20% corn. Better check your math again.
Here 20% corn on 50000# is 4000# lb shrink at elevator. Actual at home is 2800#. 1200# extra shrink per load . That's 20 bushel extra per load. At 4.00 corn that is $80.00 a load. $80of 90 loads is $7200.

Things get way out of hand ar 25% or 30% or worse as in 2009.
