Agree with your reason we actually have it. Can understand why banks want you to have it for their own protection. On other hand I borrow way more from bank for side business that has no revenue guarantee and banker doesn't bat an eye, but when I tell I want to drop crop insurance he freaks out and says I have to have it to get LOC.
