I think I would have pinched and cut to length rather than coping all the joints.
Looks good but lots of work.
With the pinch and cut you should cut your prep time by lots.
When you have your lengths you should be able to cut up for 10 feeders in no time flat!
Just made it so you could sell for $1250 and still make some money!

I thought that was a good idea so I put a piece in the press. I put at least 10 ton to it ,the most I could do without using a cheater bar and couldn't get it to squeeze down much. Things could get a little sketchy putting any more pressure to it in our press.

I like your idea (feeder) but am headed in a different direction trying to maximize input and also minimize waste.

Sorry - - - your comment got a big smile from me.
Try 25 ton better 50. I haven't built mine yet but I'm thinking like 125 or maybe even more.
Working with steel takes heat and/or pressure.
To experiment take your rosebud and heat a 5" area on your pipe and then press it. 10 ton should work - - - just you've gone back to time again.

Have you made a jig yet for your birds mouth?

Maybe your next project is to find some reasonable heavy stock and build a 60 to 75 ton press and then you will have a lot of options open up.
