Subject: RE: Non-GMO Soybeans Contaminated

SCIL
The elevator has been most helpful throughout the process. The probe 2 times to flush the probe and then take the third sample. We resampled several rejected loads to “be sure.” This was not a case of the elevator blending the beans off. My seed rep took samples from hand harvested plants from my field and sent them off for testing. Those results came back negative for Liberty. He then took a sample from the combine that tested positive. There were 2 fields an 80 and a 40. They separated by 3 miles. Both fields were contaminated with Liberty. I planted a different variety on another 210 acres and they never tested higher than 0.0%. The elevator checks every non gmo load. Once the beans were rejected they go to a different part to be dumped.
