| I installed a permanent base station this summer that I am sure going to enjoy. I was using a mobile base on several locations before.
I would like to redrive my fields this fall using my new RTK base station and delete all my old garbage lines.
I have a MFWD tractor that I has AgLeader Paradyme on it with either a Integra or 1200.
What is the best way to go about this? What would you use for an implement width? Would you use just the tractor with the Paradyme mounted normally on the roof? Use the duals as a implement width?
I would like to make it as easy as possible to figure the guidance line adjustment next spring.
I thought about making a boarder rod placing off the front weight bracket and a chain dropping down to get an accurate edge placement. I could also build something off the side step directly off the GPS antenna. I just don't know how to figure the implement or implement offset. Ideally I would like the GPS on the boarder but I am not sure how to accomplish that?
Please advise. | |
