Show us your deer damage. I bet it’s coons
how do you tell difference?

Deer will eat the leaves of young plants, the tassels when they emerge, the silks, and the kernels off the cobs but the stalks will still be standing.

Coons climb the stalk and grab the cob, breaking the stalk off. They usually try to drag it to water so they can wash it when they eat. I have the worst coon damage on fields that are near flowing water.

If you get bears, they are a real treat. They will pick an area and roll around, knocking down a 50 foot circle-and they will do it every night.
