Central IA
I feel deer damage beans more than corn, especially if you have small field with wooded or bushes as an edge. My best response has been removing tree and scrubs and making a 20-70' open area for deer to walk across. Seem to make the deer go to more "sheltered" fields.

I do agree on coon damage corn a lo, I'm trying to see if some neighbors want to trap a stream(small creak) that runs through my farm. It has a lot of elevation change so 50' of grass before the edge is not so bad. I'll try and add some pics.
