I have an 11 acre field that has tremendous deer pressure. I planted beans there this year because it had been corn 3 yrs. Didn't work out, had to kill it and plant corn late in june. I planted probably 300,000 beans per acre in the lower half of the field and it made no difference, they mowed them down. So I would say population increase won't help. I have less damage with corn. I will never try beans there again! Corn on corn every year for me....
