Southeast Colorado | I was raised in an "all boy" family...........we converted Mom along the way as well. LOL She was head mechanic at the farm. I've often said that my wife and daughter were the first girls I've really had to be around. I've got a 29 year old son and 28 year old daughter now. They were both treated very equitable and while they turned out to both be really good young adults..........they are quite different. My son is finally coming around to responsibility but my daughter has always had it. In fact..........if there's anything wrong with her it is that she is too responsible..........if that's possible. She hardly ever needs help short of fixing a manly type project at her house. She is so independent and practical that I fear she will never find a husband. She thinks just about every person she encounters that is her age is a loser..........and for the most part she is right! But she'll probably have to loosen up a bit if she doesn't want to be alone. | |
