As a dad you have to have and enforce the same rules for all of your kids. Easier said than done but it should be your goal. My older kids said the younger ones didn't have the same rules they did. Probably true. Tough to raise #7 and 8 as you did #1 and 2...but not a gender issue and shouldn't be. What is that (special treatment) going to teach your daughter as she grows up??? Nothing good for sure. jmho but BTDT. edit to add after reading below: yes, kids are all different but the rules need to be the same.
