JigHead, I'm harder on our son than our daughter. That's just the way it is and always will be. On the hand, my wife is harder on our daughter than our son. I expect that to remain the same.
I think it is a protection mechanism in a father when it comes to his daughter (little girl).
I think the same goes for a mother and her son.
