I’ve done it plenty of times have to let it be known you want to farm it when someone quits odds are the landowner isn’t going to call you. Only had one case of that. I didn’t know some of the farmers personal that I sent letter too their landlords and don’t care I did like you said just said I was interested when they quit. If someone gets mad at that they have issues.
