I planted one pass in a field last year with seed that was left out from the year before. It's all I lacked finishing up and was too cheap to open a new bag. The stand was poor and what plants there were didn't look good. Took me a while to remember what I had done. I should have put it in the freezer, but I usually avoid using old seed.
