Our cats liked to poop in the oats as well! When a clump of poop and oats went through the hammer mill it was instant aroma everywhere! One of my million dollar ideas Was an organic cat litter. Just mix whole oats and a little baking soda for a low odor litter. Change it when the oats grows to butt hole height. ( pretty green litter box is an added bonus)
