E.Central MN | Usually we have a system of checks and balances so that Congress can act in cases when the President's appointees work against the laws that were passed by Congress. The current Congress is unwilling to challenge the President on anything. We can't do anything about the current President or his appointees, but we could restore some of the checks and balances in the mid term elections. | |
