Cedar Rapids, Iowa | VRS and iMAX - the corrections are calculated for you at the server. You need to send your location to the server so it knows how to calculate corrections.
MAX - the data from each of the surrounding base stations are sent to your rover, and it then calculates corrections based on what it sees. The servers would only need to have a rough idea of where you are, in order to find the ~6 closest base stations, which you will receive data from.
I'm pretty sure the 252 won't do MAX. | |
