Sooo if waas is waas ,why does one claim 68% and another 95%? Difference being hardware??

Stating your positioning performance at 1 sigma accuracy (68.27%) may allow you to advertise a higher accuracy than if the performance was stated at 2 sigma accurary (95.45%), or even 3 sigma accuracy (99.73%). For example, Deere gets away with marketing their RTK performance as 1" accuracy up to 12 miles because they are stating it at 1 sigma accuracy. At 2 sigma accurary, Deere advertises their RTK perforamnce at 1" up to 6 miles. Trimble advertises their RTK perforamnce as 1" accuracy at 8 miles on a 2 sigma basis.
