Avco short for Aviation Corporation bought the New Idea company after WWII, thats the reason your corn picker had the Avco New Idea sticker. In the mid eighties Avco sold its NI division to Allied Products . Allied Products was acquired by Agco in the early nineties. I think Avco is now a part of Textron. | |
