Subject: Using the Ag132 to feed Beacon Corrections to an EZ-Guide 500 or 250

Sunnyvale, CA
The Ag132 is capable of feeding the Beacon differential correction signal to an EZ-Guide 500 or EZ-Guide 250. When you set up the GPS in the EZ-Guide 500 or 250 (use Wrench > System > GPS > GPS Setup >GPS Correction source > Ext. Corrections) and set up the COM port, for example, to 9600 - None - 1. Then set up the Ag132 Port: Configuration > Port A > Input None, Output RTCME, 8N1, 9600 Connect the 30945 cable from the Ag132 to the EZ-Guide 500 COM Port, or use the All-port cable for the EZ-Guide 250. this setup works great for manual steering and works well the EZ-Steer 500. This way you get the best of both worlds: Beacon corrections and a nice assisted steering guidance system.
