Yep. No reason to get started with a dying caliber. Can be tough to get a .223 to shoot really well with cheap ammo, depends on the barrel. Some guns are less finicky
I ordered a .224 Valkyrie, not sure if it will live up to the hype but I like the idea of heavier longer bullets for coyotes at long range.
