Same here in Lasalle co. We're definitely a dry pocket. Yards are done. There'll still be some high yielding corn fields, but a good chunk of fields just turned to crap in a hurry. I think the average will be down quite a bit from last year. Personally our corn on corn looks pretty bad, unlike the last 2 yrs. Beans need the rain Wednesday. Here's a table I swiped off twitter. Curious if Sangamon represents the best IL has this year. I would've thought it could be higher, but also note they guess too low most years. Also interesting that the t'ship with the highest yield also has almost the lowest ear and plant counts.
