R40 still has the greatest agronomic package for yield and standability, but we can't hack the Fuzz risk, even with T3 fungicide. We dropped it a couple years ago. The guys in North America that don't have water in 3 directions can keep growing it, we can't.

R46 has been fairly good, but MAKE SURE it gets a T1 for stripe rust prevention.

Moving here to R74. Short, yes. Had R40 and Branson side x side once and baled a 2000 x 35' pass of each. No statistical difference in idiot brick count. We don't judge straw yield x height.
