North of London | Not sure why the church would need a program since everyone is already covered by the single payer program.
If someone really needs care and it is not available in Canada the health care will pay for the patient to be taken wherever needed for that urgent care and I think it includes paying for a family member to accompany them.
That can mean to another province or to another country.
But if you just need a non critical procedure you may have to wait your turn or as the neighbour's wife did go a little further from home to a hospital with a shorter wait list.
Waiting for a replacement joint is not all wrong as my uncle noted when his neighbour got a hip replaced like he had done.
The neighbour kept complaining about the new joint and was very slow getting out and about after it and my. uncle just said he did not wait long enough to appreciate what he had. | |
