Dad tells me a story all the time about a neighbor that mounted a trencher on one. He said when they dug the footings for our barn they idled it in first gear low range and walked along it as it dug a 4 foot trench. He also tells me how Grandpa was offered a bunch of them from military surplus a few years after WW2 but declined them, but I think that was before he started farming, might have viewed them different then.
