Boom cal numbers are the inches of each boom sections. I don't know why it says something else than a number?

I think there may be a restriction in the slower applying boom section causing it to look that way, like a partially open boom valve or a kinked hose or inside of a hose coming apart restricting the flow.

Concerning the message, I too, was puzzled. As I recall it seems that way back, Raven had a piggy back box that attempted to do some recording. I think this box used GPS and recorded the applied rates for the field to a memory card but had no map or display. Seems as if you started the recording by using some of the keys on the 440. Maybe this is a throwback to that project. The concept died right away since it was clumsy at best and the competition was coming out with displays with onscreen maps.
