Beresford, SD
Forget the hog barn for now. Keep your day job....make some cash. Buy your grandparents acreage.(CFD)...pay it off fast as you can. Buy a quarter of land, keep day job (be aggressive trying to get a promotion, More off farm income the better). Keep day job after your promotion, buy another quarter of land, keep day job....by now your the manager of the coop, buy 2 more quarters of land. Hire a bto that has lots of paint payments to do your farming....enjoy life. If you love smelling the earth and driving tractors I'm sure the bto would love the extra help. You will thank me for the advise 40 years from now when your retired with a huge 401k and a section of paid for land.
