Based on my personal experience with land (not hogs).
Buy the land.
Does the 60 acres already have the hog building?
You should be able to farm the 60 and keep your job.
Get the land paid off ASAP which will give you equity to do other investments like BUY MORE LAND.
At your age you have the potential of owning several acres by the time you reach retirement age. sounds like a good idea. op have a lot of savings for land. does your grandparents even want to sell. appears no experience with hogs,get a lot, then think about it.
