That is the difference in latitude. Most cows here haven't got more than 2 bales the whole winter. Typical might be three. Graze cornstalks til March 1. But we need 4-5 acres/cow for summer/fall grazing. I still wouldn't want more than 3-400 with some part time help to load out and collect in fall.
