Redickville, Ont | I was thinking about that. If you had easy winter here and only fed 12 to winter a cow on 500 cows you need 6000 rounds. I can get 7-8 round on first cut and 5 on second. So that’s easy ac per cow for hay plus pasture ground. I like 2ac per cow for grass but can get by with 1.5ac on good land but would need 1000 ac of pasture. So now what where up to 1500 ac and land here $10 000 ac if lucky. That’s 15 mil in land lol. Now theres things that could be done to cut ac back like corn silage but holly molly for one guy I don’t know about that. | |
