Mount Pinatubo blew up and 1993 was a very cool and short growing season. Too much ash in the air reflecting sunlight I guess. Even the sunflowers failed to mature that year. Huge wheat crop with all the cool weather and steady rains though. Just thought I would share my memories of 93
