| 1983 was alot like this spring. The numbers show it. I think we got done planting towards the end off May that year. Turned hot an dry all summer an never rained again. Subpar crop but we had a big run up in prices. We sold corn that year for $3.50 coming from $1.80 the winter before. An as I speak theres another winter storm brewing. With good chances off rain in to the weekend.. If we get corn in the last two weeks in May Ill be happy. | |
