They all got little clocks in the computers . There programed to shell out the day they go out of warranty .


This is not an unreasonable thing to believe. Planned obsolescence is no secret.

Whirlpool builds both KitchenAid and Maytag now. Those are not their premium brands.

Consumer Reports states that Whirlpool Gold refrigerators have the lowest incidence of repairs and failures. My experience is in line with that.

Top end KitchenAid fridge and dishwasher both lasted six years and done. Unrepairable.

Have two Whirlpool Gold refrigerators now, oldest one going on seven years no problems. That's what I will buy again.

Suggest Lowe's scratch and dent department for some real savings. Floor model refrigerators with big discounts. Got both of mine that way.
