NC Indiana | Have watched both my brother and BIL forced down this path. Have him make sure everything is paid current before he agrees to take over assets or bills as the ex's ended up hiding that they were not paying the monthly bills with the pay check and the guys got a surprise from the bank/landlord/creditors even after everything was said and done - both ex's worked for money under that table so no income to go after.
Both are much happier now from my vantage point. | |
