| Been down the same road your thinking so just my quick two cents --follow case ih farmers advice ! I started with the 250 and have worked my way up to the fm1000. Still using easy steer just for the convenience of switching between tractors, combine, ext. As for signal I'm using Omni HP XP and fairly happy with it. Find I have to nudge it a little to keep in the planting track as the season progresses. RTK will put you back in the same track year after year if I understand right but you need a radio receiver on your unit. Good Luck | |
