| For a while I used to Invoice everything through Quickbooks. However, over time I started writing quite a few hand tickets out for thing's like loads of hay where I purchased and sold it on the same trip and never made it by the computer, or custom work where the folks wanted to pay you on the spot(never turn down money, right?). And, it got to be where there was enough of those transactions that I just gave up on using the invoicing feature altogether. Now, there are some advantages to invoicing through Quickbooks, such as keeping track of unpaid invoices and tracking customers which doesn't happen if you just enter transactions in sales. I guess what I'm wondering is how other folks handle this. | |
