Central IA | 10 pairs yes, but normally it's mid April until September and then I rotate them to graze cover crop that I plant after oats. That also doesn't mean I don't have to supplement them sometimes late summer. This August, we were dry and I had to start haying on 8/23 and they then went out on the CC on 9/20. I didn't feed any more hay until the first week of Jan.
