I'm not sure it's an adapt vs nonadapt issue. When they get T-Snip perfected (if they do) it will show us the ones that will tolerate it and perform as opposed to the ones that won't. Brought lots of bulls from hard grass country to MO, never a problem.Back to hibernation now.
I'd say a bull running around actively breeding for a month or two has a little different requirement than a cow having a calf sucking at her side for several months. Might not notice it as much.
I've had a couple bulls dang near die the first season out. One from Kansas and one from Texas. Different years, different pastures.
