NEMO
Guess I'll post, then go back into hibernation. Where to start? All this talk about fescue being like a poisonous weed or something is just plain ignorant. Is it the best grass,,,,far from it,,,will it grow and thrive where other stuff won't,,,sometimes, especially from N Ark to S Iowa. Will it ever all be killed out and replaced? Not likely, hard to establish new grass in some pastures where riding a 4 wheeler is treacherous. If it can be kept short it's better, but we're not all able to be full time grazers or keep it mowed down 3 times a year. Really it's simple, put the cows on it, the ones that work after a few years keep, the others will weed themselves off by way of poor condition or lack of rebreed. Fescue mineral? Great, a little Gluten doesn't hurt on any grass. I have very few cows without tails. I'm not in love with fescue,,,but hate,,,pretty strong. The T-Snip deal will be interesting if they ever get it figured out
