Wy | We have never worked sundays, a minister once told dad, " if you are too busy to have time for God ,sundays and mid week , you are way more busy then God intended for you to be" . Makes sense to me since He is in control. I always try to think of it this way.....when I am on my death bed, what is going to be important then? The few acres I could have harvested sundays or the quality time I could have spent in His presence. Makes the choice pretty easy. We once tested a circle of wheat saturday afternoon, it was just about right for harvest. Monday there wasnt a wheat head standing, hail mowed it to the ground. I never would have done things different. Just my 2 cents | |
