Not to hi jack the thread, but do you need a controller to run the half width disconnects of the planter that has row command? Just got a 2010 DB60 that had a liquid system on it hooked to a Deere rate controller. Took all the liquid system off and wondering if there is any need for the rate controller now?

I'm sure not expert, just learning myself. It's my understanding that with row command you do not need a rate controller. I've read quite a bit and that's my understanding.
