NE CO | Unfortunately your are correct that you will need a rate controller to control your 1/2 width disconnects for section control in your case. If the planter had rowcommand you'd be ready to go with what you already have. It always puzzled me as well starting out why the planter controller couldn't just control the two motors on and off (found that out the hard way) but that's just how the system is. However adding a rate controller to do just that is pretty simple and works pretty slick once you get everything setup so you won't regret making the upgrade. If anything then you'll just want more sections and/or rowcommand next! | |
