Subject: RE: Case IH 1250 Planter monitor options

Boone, Iowa
I just bought a 1250 24-row and trying to find out a similar answer. What I’m told, in what little I have asked so far, is the Pro 700 will work better, when you are wanting to control autosteer and planter bar functions on the same screen. I have an older Trimble FMD display that started acting up during planting, so I need to upgrade to something. I may use a 20/20 to control the row shut offs and hydraulic drive that’s on the planter. If I convert to air bags, instead of down pressure springs, I can use the 20/20 also. I have a Pro 600 in my combine and could put planter software in to run the planter bar. They were checking to see if there is a trade-up program to go from a 600 to a 700. I have the same planter options as you have, except the air bags. I do have a 500 gal liquid fertilizer set up that I’m going to remove.
